Okay, so I just got out of a 2 and 1/2 year relationship, about 3 weeks ago. He broke up with me cause he wants to be single. I can see why because I was his first relationship and he needs to experience other girls. He wants to be friends but its so hard every time I see him. He said maybe we will be together in the future, but how can I be so sure? When we were together we rarely fought, we were like the perfect couple and soooooooooo in love. I can also say that his "new best friend" played a huge role in our break up. Ever since my ex became best friends with this kid, his whole wadrobe changed, his attitude changed, the way he acts, walks, and talks, all changed and is now exactly like him. And his best friend would put things into his head like "you should be single, you've been with her too long, you need to experience the single life, etc."
The other day I slept over his house because his sister is my best friend. He pulled me into his room and started flirting with me, then he started cuddling with me, then he started leading me on, but he wouldnt kiss me. I asked him why he wouldnt kiss me and he told me that he didnt want to get me upset. If he didnt want to get me upset, then why would he lead me on like that. Everyone is telling me that he just wanted to get in my pants. I was really upset about this because I never thought he would ever do this to me. I just miss him so much and I cant deal with ever seeing with him with another girl. I need really good advice please.

The best way to deal with your boyfriend's decision to break up with you is to celebrate! He doesn't really know who he is and what he wants, as demonstrated by his cameleon-like behaviors. He is asking for his space, telling you why, and it's best not to try and convince him otherwise. He knows he needs to explore and you don't want him to do it while simultaneously saying he's commited to you, when he really won't be.

I suggest you learn from this situation and move on with your life. His sister can remain your friend as long as you are able to make sure you don't use her to get information from her about him. You sound like you have a lot of love to give, so go out and find a deserving recipient. Good luck!
