Things can happen so fast! Check out the latest news right here. It's on newstands now -- the October issue of Cosmopolitan magazine. And you can read what I have to say on page 133 about how to destress at the end of the day with your partner.

It's the issue with cute Katie Holmes on the cover, and my words of wisdom are in the "couples" column. Or you can read it here . . .
1. Make the switch. Before you can bond with your babe, recover from the day. "To do this, have a daily ritual that helps you relax," says New York City psychologist Janice D. Bennett, PhD. Try reading a book, doing some yoga, or taking a long shower.

2. Ban the box. Passing out in front of the TV is not going to inspire a whole lot of lovin'. "If you want to wind down together, switch it off," Bennett says. Instead: Head outside for a walk, listen to some tunes, or eat out.

3. Have a plan. "If you're both looking forward to a date set up for that evening, the daily grind won't get to you as much," says Bennett. Knowing there's a little sugar at the end of the work day makes it all more tolerable.

4. Get naked. Nothing will boost your bond (and distract you from the job) like getting nude together. But skip the candles and soft music (boring!). "Really paying attention to each other will inspire closeness and romance," explains Bennett.

Coming soon -- I'll be in the November issue too, discussing how not to commit early relationship suicide. So stay posted! Copyright 2004 Cosmopolitan Magazine
